Solving QA Manual tasks by automating an application to check that the website is functioning correclty with humar readible error messages, allows QA developers to focus on other creative skills to QA manual items. My most succesful problem I have solved is centralizing a governments case tracking system and allowing them to go to one place to find their notes and verus going through folders to find they may have saved files over the other.
Anyone can create something beautiful. It is not about the beauty of the report but story telling. My most favorite visualization projects has been from taking a visualization, revamping the ETL layer, add grouping sets and having a performant backend to tableau then laying out the the report so it tells a story in a Z directional approach of placement. I also replaced all the busy aspects of the report and focused on bar graphs and lines that can visually tell the trend of the product right immedately.
